A couple reminders –

1. No chess club this Thursday – Sept 29. Our next meeting will be October 6^th.
2. The 2022 Oklahoma Blitz Championships will be held on October 1^st. in Chandler, Oklahoma. This is for adults and kids. Cost to enter is $30 if registered by 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 28. $35 after/onsite. I will be playing in the tournament and so will my son. There are 3 sections. If your student wants to enter, they should enter the U1000 (Under 1000) Section unless their chess rating is above that. A US Chess membership is also needed to enter. If you have played in an OSCO tournament in the last year, you would already have one. Please contact me if you have any questions. 3. Next OSCO Tournament (kids only) will be October 22 at TU. Signups start Oct 6^th. I’ll send out a reminder email. This is a local tournament. If your child is interested in going to a tournament, this would be a good one to start with.
