This was a really good game for me. Move 14 was a really good find. My opponent probably should have traded his 3 pawns for the knight. Instead he traded a pawn and rook for my knight. Not a good trade!
round 2 – I was playing a person rated 250 higher than me. I played black. Score 1 point out of 2 possible.

This is probably one of the best games I have ever played over the board. We had about 30 minutes on our clocks at the end so this game lasted about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Each player starts with 90 minutes on their clock. 30 seconds gets added to my clock every move I take.
round 3 – another long game – played a college student from Oklahoma Central University. He did a good job. Analysis shows he had a chance to win but I was able to hold him off until the endgame where I was going to get a queen Score 2 points out of 3 available.

This was a good game. I found a fork on move 22 that he couldn’t avoid because I was already attacking his other rook. I won this round. Score 3-1
